Helping Hands of Howard County is set to host the 12th annual Basket Bingo Saturday, April 23rd at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fayette. They have chosen the following local nonprofits to receive benefits from the event: The Fayette and Glasgow food pantries, the Armstrong and Glasgow senior centers, the Christmas Holiday House and the Benevolent Fund in Fayette and Glasgow. Helping Hands is accepting aluminum cans to help buy baskets for the event at Merchant & Farmers Bank, Pat Hilgedick’s or David Jordan’s. Doors for Basket Bingo will open April 23rd at 5:30 and Games begin at 6:30pm. Twenty bingo cards will cost $20, with additional cards going for $10 each, each bingo will bring Longaberger items, and additional prizes will be drawn for throughout the night.
