Columbia resident Meagan Davis has been named as the new assistant director of special projects in the Advancement and Alumni Relations department at Central Methodist University. Her goal: to develop and strengthen the department's engagement with students, parents, alumni and volunteers. A graduate of the University of Missouri, Davis has spent two and a half years in Columbia’s Aetna Insurance office as a community relations and event coordinator and as a member engagement analyst. Prior to her work with Aetna Davis served in the nonprofit field first as a director of a pre-school and then as a member of a child care counseling and referral service.
