The Howard County Sheriff's Department and the DEA is getting ready for their 11th Drug Take Back Day in Fayette. Saturday, April 30th residents are being encouraged to bring in old, outdated and unwanted prescription medication to the First Christian Church on North Church Street for disposal. Liquids, needles and sharps cannots be accepted only medications in pill or patch form. Americans are now being advised not to throw medicines away in the trash or dispose of them by flushing them down to toilet due to a potential for safety and health hazards. Drop off hours are Saturday, April 30th from 10am to 2pm.
