The Boonville Police Department has budgeted money for the purchase of two in-car police cameras in the near future. Each camera costs around $4,000 and will be purchased from the same company that provided their body cameras. The body and in-car cameras will link together so that if one is disabled the other would be still up and recording events. These new cameras will actually be $1,000 cheaper than the cameras the department currently uses.
